Stratford, Connecticut - Oil Paintings and Giclee Artwork Prints
Stratford sits at the mouth of the Housatonic River where it opens into Long Island Sound — a convergence of tidal river, open water, and sky that creates dramatic light on the Connecticut shoreline. Short Beach and Long Beach flank the town's coastline, each with its own character and atmosphere, while Lordship Beach is a distinctive coastal spot, where you can also find some of New England’s native Eastern Prickly Pear cacti growing.
