South Cape Beach is one of the distinctive coastal landscapes of Mashpee, Massachusetts, where the white sand, low dunes, small tree's, open water and changing Cape Cod light create a compelling subject.
 
South Cape Beach State Park is located along the southeast shore of Waquoit Bay in Mashpee. The landscape includes a mile of white sand beach, low dunes, salt marshes, kettle ponds and coastal woodland. The beach is also part of the remarkable coastal environment surrounding Waquoit Bay and the Nantucket Sound shoreline.
