Honored and delighted to be placed 1st in the 'Visions of New England' juried art show that starts this Friday at Stamford's Art Association Town House gallery.
The 'View from Cove Island Park' seascape oil painting, was one of the first paintings I finished this year and measures 18 inches high x 36 wide. There were many paint-worthy views to capture from Cove Island Park in Stamford, but I gravitated towards this scene from the small bluff looking SW down the coastline and am glad I did!
The reception will be this Friday, July 26 from 6 - 8 pm and the show itself runs from July 26 - Aug 22, 2019. The gallery is open Thursday/Friday 11am -3pm and Sat/Sun 12 noon-3pm.
