As the temperature rises in July, I've been keeping myself busy in the cool refuge of my studio and here's a quick update on the art shows that are happening in July.
This month I was grateful to be accepted into the 23rd Annual Vivian and Stanley Reed Marine Show. However, I was even more delighted and honored to find out that I placed 3rd with my painting of South Village Beach in Dennis, Cape Cod (pictured below).
The gallery reception was held last week at the Stamford Arts Association in Stamford, CT, which was a wonderful fun evening and very well attended. The show will continue through till August 10th and the work can be seen during the Stamford Townhouse Gallery hours of Friday - Sunday 12-3pm.
Meanwhile at Art/Place Gallery (at the FTC building in Fairfield, CT) later this month there will be a new group exhibit called 'Color' that will be on display by the 25th July and the opening reception will be held next month on Sunday, Aug 6th between 3-5pm. Hope you can make it!
Finally, I'm delighted to report that I appear in a recent article in Canvas Rebel magazine. I always love reading others stories from other creatives in this publication and so was happy to feature myself in a recent edition. Check out the write up below.
