Next month I will be the feature artist at the Art/Place gallery, with my latest solo show - A Journey Along the Shores of Cape Cod.
The show starts Monday March 4th and continues through to the end of March at Art/Place Gallery on 70 Sanford St in Fairfield, CT. The opening reception will be held on Sunday March 17 between 2-4pm, so hope you can join us.
This exhibition offers a unique journey showcasing the evolution and progression of my oil painting style capturing the essence of Cape Cod's coastal scenery. I began painting Cape Cod seascapes more than five years ago, but due to the challenges posed by the pandemic, it was difficult to exhibit many of those earlier works.
This exhibition highlights a selection of my earlier Cape Cod seascapes, beginning near the Bourne Bridge and continuing town by town, spanning over 50 miles 'down the Cape', before concluding with my most recently painted pieces from Harwich Port.
I still have a long way to 'finish' this project in its entirety, but I'm excited to put this collection of works together that haven't previously been displayed on any gallery walls to date.
